This honey is harvested during spring time from large areas of scrub, from the sea to the mountains. We find there all the complexity of the maquis flowers with mainly white heather, followed by maritime lavender and broom.

We are working with a young beekeeper, Colin, located in the south-west of Corsica, in the pretty region of Balagne. This country is free from pesticides and intensive cultivation. The fauna is wild. Colin took over the beekeeping operation from his parents a few years ago, who were the first professional beekeepers to settle in Corsica in the 1970s. Colin is passionate, he practices traditional beekeeping, guaranteeing the good health of bees.
Honey is PDO with very precise specifications which highlight the respect for bees and the traceability of honey.
The white heather is the most coveted and rare of the heather. Flowering takes place from February and harvest takes place between March and early April. The apiary is located at about 400 meters altitude a few kilometers from Monte Cinto.
