An increasingly rare artisanal honey

This year, our acacia honey is of great purity. Her dress is transparent.

Bee colonies love the acacia. It is a tree that flowers in April-May. In the spring, weather conditions are often uncertain.

Yet the honey flow of the acacia is based on two criteria: little rain and a minimum temperature of 20°C. With the climate changes that we are experiencing, it is not uncommon for conditions not to be met and for production to be irregular.

Also, the acacia has a short flowering period, foragers and beekeepers have to work extra hard to harvest the precious nectar.
To have a transparent and sweet acacia honey, the beekeeper must extract it from the hive as soon as flowering is finished to avoid "pollution" from other honey flows, which are numerous at this time.

The great classic

Our acacia honey is a classic of our French land. This nectar will seduce you at first by its liquid aspect, almost translucent, its light yellow color then by its soft and flowery savor.

It is a honey which does not crystallize.

We warn you, the jar of acacia honey ends quickly, it is a honey of every day, "passe-partout". The children adopt it easily at breakfast or at snack time. One forgets the harmful effects of the white sugar on health (honey is to be consumed without excess of course).

To be enjoyed with yogurt to sweeten it, in a tea, an herbal tea, or in a vinaigrette.

Excellent
